Lobsang Gyalsen-la is the special translator for Gyuto Center when we invite abbots and other high lamas to give teachings. Lobsang lives in Concord, CA and works full time. He drives all the way from Concord and has translated for the Gyuto Center since 2002 without any compensation. Lobsang never charges for his service because he thinks that this is his practice to serve the Dharma. Lobsang not only translates for Gyuto but also helps other Dharma Centers around the Bay Area whenever he is needed. His Dharma knowledge is very beneficial for the students as well as for many Dharma Centers around the country.
